Who is responsible

cmdAI SAS, which publishes Humanload, is the data controller for the waitlist. Registered office: 51 boulevard Yves Farge, 69007 Lyon, France. Contact: hello@humanload.app.

Why we keep your email

To let you know when Humanload launches.

We also email you to confirm your sign-up. If you sign up again, we send a new confirmation link, or a reminder if you have already confirmed. At most one email per 24 hours.

The legal basis is your consent. You give it by confirming your sign-up. You withdraw it by unsubscribing, whenever you want.

Your address is used for nothing else. We do not sell it or rent it out.

What we keep

For each sign-up, one row:

• your email address, in lower case;
• the language and domain of the site where you signed up (humanload.eu or humanload.app);
• a referral code, if it is on a short list of approved codes (for example tokens-anonymes);
• the status of your sign-up (pending or confirmed), and the dates of sign-up, confirmation and the last email sent;
• a random identifier;
• until you confirm, the SHA-256 hash of the confirmation token and its expiry date, and during a resend those of the new token: no token is stored in plain text.

We keep neither your IP address nor your browser’s user agent. The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics scripts.

The per-country counter

Each time someone confirms, we add 1 to a counter per country and per domain.

The country is the two-letter code Cloudflare attaches to the request. We do not read your IP address to keep this count.

This counter has no link to your email address. Unsubscribing does not decrease it.

How long we keep it

• An unconfirmed sign-up is deleted 7 days after the latest sign-up request.
• A confirmed sign-up is deleted 12 months after Humanload launches, and at the latest 24 months after you signed up.
• Unsubscribing deletes it immediately.

Where your data is

The waitlist database (Cloudflare D1, in the EU jurisdiction) is stored in the EU. This guarantee covers that D1 database only.

Our processor

Cloudflare, Inc., a US company, processes the waitlist on our behalf. It provides:

• hosting: like any host, it processes the technical data needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address;
• Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is filling in the form;
• the sending of the waitlist emails.

The D1 guarantee does not cover these services. Cloudflare describes them in its privacy policy.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• access your data;
• have it corrected or erased;
• ask us to restrict its processing, or object to it;
• withdraw your consent.

The link in each email opens a page where you confirm that you want to unsubscribe. The “Unsubscribe” button in your email app, when it shows one, unsubscribes you directly. Either way, your row is deleted.

For any other request, email hello@humanload.app. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
